Certificate of Deposit Rate Bump at Neighborhood Credit Union

Just in time for deposit season, Neighborhood Credit Union has increased its Certificate of Deposit (CD) rates.

New CD Rates in Dallas

Take your savings even further with a Neighborhood Credit Union’s Standard Certificate or IRA/Roth IRA Certificates from 48 months with a rate of 2.25% APY* or 60 months with a rate of 2.50% APY*. Whether you’re planning for a vacation, college, or retirement grow your savings with Neighborhood Credit Union.

What is a Certificate of Deposit?

A Certificate of Deposit is a savings account with a fixed interest rate and a set term called a maturity date. Once your CD has reached its maturity date, you can take out your money and the interest you gained during that time. You can withdraw earlier than the maturity date, but there will be a monetary penalty. This is a great option for those who want to set aside money and protect it from being used elsewhere or desire the security of a guaranteed rate for an extended period of time.

Is a CD Not for You?

If you don’t want to lock your money away for 48 or 60 months, one of our other CDs might be for you. FlelxPlus is a short-term CD that allows for additional deposits. FlexPlus also has the lowest opening deposit starting at $500 with a rate of 1.50% APY* for 12 months. Similar to FlexPlus, our exclusive Online Savings CD is another great option that allows additional deposits. Only $1500 to open with a rate of 2.00% APY* for 17 months.
Our High Yield Savings account is a great option for those who want 24/7 access to their money but desire a higher rate of interest. With an opening deposit of $10,000 or more, you can earn 1.70% APY* with the High Yield Savings account. Whatever you choose, Neighborhood Credit Union is here to help you reach your savings goal.
